The Concept Behind EdNoKa

EdNoKa was born from a simple frustration: the artificial divide between learning and play. Growing up, studying was expected to be serious and isolated, while gaming was considered a guilty pleasure.

I believe learning and play can—and should—coexist. EdNoKa is my proof of that belief. It's a platform where academic content blends seamlessly with interactive, rewarding gameplay. Whether you're solving puzzles, dodging projectiles, or farming crops, you're learning. Every question shapes your experience. Every lesson lives inside the game.

This is more than gamification—it's learning through play, with no compromises. Because no one should have to choose between personal growth and genuine fun.

Behind the Scenes

EdNoKa was developed almost entirely by me—from game design to server infrastructure. Here's a breakdown of what I built:

🎮 Game Development

  • • Designed and developed five genre-spanning games in Unity and Godot (2D & 3D)
  • • Engineered quiz-integrated gameplay: frequent multiple choice question that alters the course of play
  • • Integrated AI-assisted quiz generation for effortless player content creation

🛠️ Backend & Infrastructure

  • • Built a Django REST API with full database integration and secure authentication
  • • Deployed production servers using Ubuntu, and Nginx
  • • Developed a cross-platform, coin-based in-game store (Steam, Google Play, Apple Store)

🧪 Testing & Feedback

  • • Ran thorough testing across desktop (Windows, Mac, Linux) and mobile platforms (Android & iOS)
  • • Beta-tested with real users and gathered live feedback from streamers

🎨 Design & Promotion

  • • Created all promotional assets: video trailers, logos, animated explainers, Steam page, and the official website

From concept to deployment, every part of EdNoKa was crafted by one person. This isn't just a project—it's a mission to change how people experience learning.
